The Hollywood star has revealed why he considers football to be the "most romantic sport" and hailed his players' commitment to their games as well as to the team. Along with co-owner Rob McElhenney, Reynolds also promised to show similar dedication to take Wrexham forward.

Speaking on podcast, the actor said: "Tozer took himself out for a minute and then someone got injured and he stepped in and he went and scored a goal. The way he did it too, it was so beautiful, very moving to see because I knew he’d been through quite a bit with losing his dad. This is the most romantic sport on the planet. You see each one of those players is going into battle and would give their last drop of blood to perform for that town. Rob and I feel the same way, that we have to reciprocate that gesture. We would give our last drop of blood to see this club move forward. What a special year this has been already."

The Red Dragons have enjoyed a good run of form in League Two this season. They have lost on just six occasions out of 28 games and currently stand fourth in the league. They made only two signings in the recently concluded January transfer window as Luke Bolton and Jack Marriott joined the club, but are still in a great position to earn promotion.
